Internationally there is an excellent and well known catalog. Colectors, some amateurs and certainlly many sellers are used to it. It's called "Standard Catalog of World Paper Money" and is known as Pick, the name of its creator and one of its editors. You can find major series of local and national paper money, certain regional and some special issues.

This Catalog is easy to use and to understand. It is divided in three volumes, which allows better actualization and use. The first one includes special and local issues, the second one brings national and regional issues to 1960 and the third has many banknotes issued since 1960.
